About Me.

Hello! My name is Arleth Curiel Enriquez and I go by she/her. I am a 16 year old Junior in High School and I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Those who I love truly mean everything to me. I take the bonds that I have with people very seriously. I fell in love with creating art at a young age but I wasn't the best at it. That was up until 8th grade, quarantine. Probably the worst time in my life honestly, being away from people seemed like a good thing to me then, but thinking back I realize how much of an impact it had on me. Entering High School I didn't know how to interact with new people, or how to start conversations with the people that I did know. (When it came to certain people I just didn't want to speak to them) The only good thing I got from quarantine was the amount of free time I had to learn that I loved art. I spent most of my time drawing, painting or sculpting (if my brother let me use his clay). I also started to write more and found that art was my way of getting away from everything and everyone, along with music. I truly believe that music and art compliment each other extremely well.

Line photo

This is my lined photo assignment. In this photo, there are many lines being shown. The palm tree's trunk, the light of the sun beaming and the rooftop of the building.

Lighting Painting

In this photo, my group and I captured a star because we used stop motion. We used a yellow light to our flashlight on our phones so it wouldn't just be a plain white star. Although it would have also looked cool.

Texture photo

For this photo assignment we had to capture something that had texture to it. Whether it was soft, bumpy or as if we were able to peel whatever is in the photo. Here I have a sticker on a traffic pole in which the light has been chipping off.
